<a name="planetz-file"></a><a href="http://www.planetz.com/Pulsar/files/dev ... .zip"><img src="/forums/images/file_icon.gif" border="0" alt=" File"> File</a><BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Price ($USD): 0<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Type: Synth<BR> _____________________________________<BR><BR> This thread will be edited and renamed until it is final, please comment here or PM me

IMPORTANT! in the zip file is an atom by w.steckenleiter called "RECTIFIE.DSP" it should be somewhere in your creamware app folder in app/dsp (or wherever "dsp" folder is on yours) if your dsp folder has subfolders just put it in "other"

It mostly works like the old transplanet except for these things.

* osc 1 and 2 are now the same osc on both sides of the morph so if you change their relative pitch there will be a detune or slide when the morph happens. thats why the "b side" for those oscs have no waveform selector.

* chopper now is synchronised to avoid "different sounding note" problem

*smooth is gone, replaced by chopper mix between oscs 1 and 2 and osc 3

* velocity on morph (took from morph envelope to save on dsp) end result is that velocity will effect morph even if the sustain is zero.

* morph modulators are bipolar negative modulates the morph down(towards b) and positive modulates it up(towards a).

* morph is a big slider less confusing than the old knob.

* lfo has random sine (7th waveform)

* new filters with LBH knob

* saturation is less extreme but does not change the volume as much.

* keyfollow is now centered on c4 and the filters can follow key perfectly (you can "play the rez")

* keyfollow knob is still unmarked  its the one between the freq and rez

notes.
There was supposed to be a simple sequencer hooked to the LFO but it totally freaks out the morph circuit so i took it back out.

Although quite a lot of DSP saving was done most of it was made back with new features,
so it is about the same.

If you have a big change in LFO speed while using 7th LFO waveform you might get a ripping or crackle sound (due to its frequency control not being syncronous). it may be fixable

Beta version has no preset list deliberately. it is much easier to add the preset list when everything is final.

because of the above, it will probably only work in OMNI as well

I think thats it for now. have fun!

This is definately a killer synth! You need to try it, I've had much fun with it.

If we can find and send Neutron the (if any) bugs, we'll get the preset list and remote control.

Pc1600x users will get an update soon of my Pc1600x presets, with corresponding SFP device remote control presets.

no TR2 here either (3.01b)....
For the same reason the Sonic Attack doesn't work here, despite some claiming it does work in 3.01.

If it wasn't for that s/pdif-bug I'd now be running SFP3.1....... Creamware, fix it!

You can sync the LFO to MIDI clock, just activate the 'sync' button on the LFO section...
