is what I'd really prefer:
has anybody tried to fix the distortions of the old STS under XP by just copying the new one into 3.01?
Thus bugfixing without (much) risk?
(The other way 'round it's possible: PM from former Propack can be copied into SFP.)

I tried copying a few devices back, the new mixers didn't want to play, appeg1 worked but I didn't try the sampler since I use w98se. I get a sneaky suspiscion it might not work, but feel free to prove me wrong.

I already tried copying the LightWave synth back to 3.0.1... didn't work :sad:
