S|C v5.1 in Win10

Post by MrV »

Hi folks

I have S|C v5.1 2709-x64 running in Win 10 v22H2 x64
I've just installed Cubase Pro 12.0.70 but it can't find the Scope ASIO ....but my Cubase 10 can no probs .
Weird
Is there some issue with Scope ASIO and Cubase 12 ?

Also Windows is calling my S|C installation 32 bit ,but should be saying 64bit , right ?

Thanks , Michael

most of the program is 32bit(the exe), but it interfaces with Windows in 64bit.

did you try running Cubase in win8 compatibility mode?

v5.1 is really not for win10.

Ah thanks Gary ,
Hope yr well , long time no speak .
I've been away from the Scope platform for a couple of years , just firing up the 3x ScopePro system , getting rid of the cobwebs , mainly the ones in my head :)
So I guess I should upgrade from 5 .1 straight away.
Is there a Scope 6 upgrade I could get or just go straight to 7 ?
Cheers , Michael

use v7. you only need one license if all cards are in the same computer.

Ok thnx .
I have 3 PCI systems ,but I'll upgrade just this main one first.

By the way Cubase12 did see the ScopeAsio when it was run in Win8 compatibility...but Scope 7 would be the way to go instead I imagine
