Are Modular IV licenses dependent on the Scope App license?

Forked from "18 months later with scope as a standalone" viewtopic.php?t=37355&start=20
There's currently a discount so was considering Scope 5 to 7 upgrade. Nothing stands out to me except possible Win 10 optimisation?
If I had to chose one thing perhaps Modular IV is greater bang for buck. Assuming it runs on Scope 5.
The Scope 7 webpage says Modular III in the list of tools but cheekily links to Modular IV.
https://sonic-core.de/scope-software/
I been wondering a similar thing for some time except for the inverse reason:
My modular IV machine is running 5.1 as this is what I bought the it with back when.
This means I have to run Win7 on that machine, which is not ideal (but works fairly well).
My question would be if I upgraded Scope on that machine to v7, would my synth licenses (including Modular IV) all work with the new v7 license?

I guess the combined question is:
Is the license for Modular IV (and other "extra synths") indpendent of the core Scope license?
(Or are they bound to the specific version?)
