Hi all,
hoping everyone is ok!
Just to say, after a whole load of trouble and strife, I'm back 'modulating'.
I finally had to upgrade to Win 10 but didn't move over my Sonic-Core stuff. I figured that as everything was working, why risk the move.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I purchased a Presonus Studio 1810c and now my two PCs talk to each other brilliantly!
It has ADAT in and I use a Fostex VC-8 to get Studio One to send to my Scope cards.
Studio One has a brilliant 'plug-in' called Pipeline that just routes (pronounced 'roots') the sound wherever.
So, my little videos attracted the attention of some African artists and I'd like to share a couple of demos we put together.
What with COVID and my upgrade everything ground to a halt, but hopefully it'll start getting back on track.
Without further ado:
Demo one with a brilliant singer in Kenya -

Demo two, another brilliant singer from Uganda (and one from the UK):

Thanks in advance for listening, Onwards and Upwards!
Robert

Re: Still here!
cool!
i too have a very old fostex vc-8 coupled to my pulsar!
A long time ago i had several hardware synths connected to it. now actually only a stereo preamp remains, and i don't use it too often.
everything went digital since then!
