Routing scope outputs to built-in headphone out?

Post by ron3113 »

Hello scopers,

Is there a way to route the outputs of from the Scope 7 platform (running on two older Pulsar cards) to the headphone output, which is built into my Dell Precision workstation running Win7 (64 bit)? Normally, the headphone out works with an NVidia router, but I was wondering if there was a way of using the flexibility of the scope platform to connect to the headphone out.

Any inputs much appreciated!

Nvidia router does this on a software level Scope doesn't have access to in the same way.

Thanks, Valis. I had suspected as much, but good to know for sure.

You're better off for this anyway. Fwiw I keep all system sounds & 'multimedia' (browser audio, youtube etc) assigned to my onboard & all other audio goes to my pro cards. I do this on *every* machine I currently own whether Mac, Windows or Linux. Small mixers are a great help in this regard to 'sum' these sources to a single set of monitors, but I probably have too many monitors too. :)
