I was watching the crazy awesome Machete kills... The 2° movie after Machete and before Machete kills again in space...
And the very bad guy use an Ableton pad to fire a rocket !
If you didn't already watched this movie, run to do it ! Awesome fun ! He easily saves the world with his machete.
Machete kills ! Ableton !
Re: Machete kills ! Ableton !
Novation Launchpad =) (non mini/non pro model)
Re: Machete kills ! Ableton !
You're right ! But it's writen ABLETON on the up right corner... I had no idea it's Novation that made it.
After some research, I saw that I'm not alone to notice this movie detail. Maybe it's very famous amongst audio geek people...
They didn't hide the ableton label at all. I believe it's a tribute. I know that Robert Rodriguez, the film director / scenarist is also a musician, he created several tracks in his movies.
Take care, nasty guys ! Machete is in a bad mood !

I guess he will rather kill the Launchpad hahaha
out and about for music production. Are you still configguring your Studio music first!
Re: Machete kills ! Ableton !
The launchpad does indeed have the Ableton logo on it. It started as a more flexible performance oriented alternative to the APC40 and inspired the Push, and is now MUCH more flexible. As this movie shows!

Yes! using Launchpad95 ableton midi remote scripts, the launchpad does a lot of what the push can do, with keys, sequencing, etc. It's fabulously awesome for the cost of a launchpad, it launchpad mini.
I also noticed this in another show, maybe Dark Matter or such, similar Spaceship control surface thing.
