I love gate effects but I find nothing more boring than drawing automation in a sequencer in order to achieve them. So I've cooked up a little trance gate that I've been working on to handle the duties and it is proving to be somewhat useful. It's bound to go through a few iterations but as it stands the bare bones can bring good results.
Things to add or improve:
Better layout, more explanation and guidance on what to tweak
BC modular control and modules to give more hands on experience
Inclusion of Roy's gates for modulation to benefit from adjustable individual gate length
internal sequencer preset switching perhaps logic controlled
longer sequencer runs
more parallel processing options ie more filters to choose from + fx
Let me know if you find it useful and any suggestions for improvements welcome
ps made a few presets but I normally like to capture the audio asap so it's more about tweaking

Should have also explained that this works with external ramp waveform.
Try tweaking decay amount on Hyper AD, decay mod pattern lfo for rhythmic decay variation, flexor gate sequence, other pattern lfo. Set filter cutoff for source material and then miodulate pattern lfo.
