Happy Z aniversary day!
PLANET Z 5th YEAR!

This passed year, I have learned and taken many positive things here… from you all Z people: Synths techniques, how to build and setup computers, audio mastering tips, music style appreciation, opened my mind to an entire new world of multimedia applications, made some interesting voice work, tasted my English pronunciation, downloaded several excellent Scope Devices, new presets, lots and lots of interesting music of very different styles and worlds, had many motivating insights about life and friendship, learned some new points about philosophy, opened myself to many exciting new aspects of music I did not think about before, got some relevant advices from professionals in different areas, got a fair amount of answers to solve some of my system configuration problems, well… the list could be longer… and all have been positive things… even the disappearance of the unfortunate Lifechanger, which was the only one that did not change a thing, regardless of his badly chosen name (I will not talk about him).

Musically, I can say many, if not most of posters uploading music since year 2000, have grown to a more developed state of balance and beauty of sound. Mastering has passed to a new stage and there are serious differences from those just entering mastering now, and those who have been in the Z experimenting for a few years already. The critics received in the Music Forum are very useful, not only is the composer-arranger-mastering engineer who posted the song learning something useful, we all learn from other peoples views. Mastering is, by all means, a long term apprenticeship process. I am getting aware now, while writing, that all those apparently non important ideas, critics and dislikes of our songs posted here, are getting to be sort of a school on mastering, without us realizing it. That is why I think people should get more involved into commenting songs as well as posting new ones. This is what I hope everybody will do by 2004.

I appreciate in an exceptional way, the RESPECT and PEACE that there exist in this site today! I want to sincerely thank all those who have been patient and respectful to each other, so contributing to such a peaceful place to be and enjoy. It is obvious that with such an amount of people we are, almost 2000 users now, views can sometimes collide against each other, pretty normal isn’t it? Nevertheless, and despite the fact we have gone through some difficult topics this year, and that we are a huge crowd now, nobody was disrespectful. If Planet Z continues to grow the same way by 2004 and we keep being so respectful to each other, this is going to be a dream place for all other Creamware users to come as well, I’m sure that by the end of 2004, this forum will be by far, the most important “no-back-to-any-other”, Creamware forum. It’s going to jump over the world, the Z world!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Z PEOPLE!

Cheers Nestor.

Thanks everyone for much planetz such a fantastic community!

Ok, Nestor, I gotta ask--- what's that picture of the old guy all about!?!? After scratching my head for awhile in confusion, I went on a detective hunt to find the answer.... Turns out, this guy was named as a Public Citizen in The Campbell Reporter (Campbell, California):

"Ray Spafford wrestled as the Masked Marvel, then worked as a stuntman and cowboy in westerns for Columbia and Metro- Goldwyn-Mayer studio. He also made a flawless 12-carat necklace for Liberace"

Ok, so next question.... Nestor, what's UP with that?!!

Wow John! You have surprised me! How could you find out the “exact” page I’ve got it from? You should be a Net-Detective instead of a programmer…

Explanation:
I wanted to give sort of a wide example of “new” people coming into the community all the time, so I have chosen this man cos it looks great! I think the picture gave to my post a nice flavour… but… I have to be honest to myself, the more I try to explain it… the less and less it makes sense to me…

What the heck… have a wonderful anniversary day you people!
