Dante Network configuration for Scope7

Post by jowi »

Anyone here with experience on Dante Network with scope?

I have a pc with scope environment running as the heart of the studio. I try to connect a macbook with ableton 16channels via Dante to scope7. On the Pc site installed 'Dante Via' and on the mac site 'Dante Virtual soundcard'.
I get two channel audio transfer comming in via the scope ''Wave Source 1', so now go for 16 channel transfer.
There is no way I can get it running on ASIO which it should.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanx in advance.

well, you can use 8 wave modules...

the Dante app won't work with Scope ASIO? you could use Reaper w/ReaRoute or VoiceMeeter as a bridge, since they will accept the Scope ASIO driver and provide a virtual ASIO driver for your other apps, allowing you to route Scope and any other apps together, even multiple apps.

Thanx Garyb, as soon as I have a spare minute I will check Voicemeeter out. The website looks promising.

SOLVED ...!!
So, took the time to do a complete system wipe. formaly windows7 with a lot of unwanted stuff going on.
Installed: win10 Pro , Scope7, Dante Via.
No problems anymore recognising the ASIO driver. Works like a charm.
