Let´s hope it works flawlessly w/ both the XITE´s ADAT I/Os.

You could always get an A16 too.
Seems I got one barely used.
I can run the maximum I/Os into XITE including AES/EBU simultaneously @ 44.1k.
I used Z-Link taking analog signals, then 16 x mic pres via ADAT.
Cascaded Fireworx via AES, Solaris XITE Mic pres, HX3 Analog ins.

Don't need a Pulse but good to know they're around just in case.

Wow, this does look nice. Including the routing, which is nice for tracking and monitoring.

Well,- in general I don´t want to buy used and older gear always just to be compatible w/ XITE.

I still own a older RME (Nuendo) 8 I/O AD/DA sounding good, working w/ XITE and doesn´t need a line lump.
But it´s 8 channels only.

When it worked w/ XITE and has internal PSU it would be ideal for me ´cause I´d win 8 channels.
I also like the MADI option is 100 bucks only.

Yes very interesting and priced well for someone like me. But I understand why people might be cautious about this stuff considering the various compatibility problems reported.

If there was the promise of "better sound" with the Pulse I'd seriously consider it. I'm not unhappy with my SC A16 Ultra though. Would be neat to try before I buy ;-)

I happened to come across an ad for Pulse and was wondering if anyone's gotten their hands on one yet.
