Hello DAW MAN - You seem to be good at uncovering less obvious good motherboards! - I see what you mean about AsRock motherboards now - As I learned more about how to build a computer I am liking AsRock more and more and I don't know why! but I do prefer the mainstream boards [marketing- ]

Whether it's the Z97 Extreme 3 or 4 or 6 or the Z97X Fatal1ty Killer or Z97 Fatal1ty Killer - All are fab!!! - Not been able to get hold of an Extreme 6 yet though but the Extreme 4 is still very good

The Z97 Extreme 9 is even greater still but not needed for my needs - Is good for thunderbolt but only up to 10 GB/S which is not quite up to 20 Gbs for thunderbolt 2 but is still quick enough

The X99X Killer is an awesome board too but not for Scope though !!!

No idea.
But reveals how the industrial world adoption is slow to accept hyped up newer models and new technologies yet to mature.

Sure ! Industrial applications must be robust ! Better to be sure there will be no issue ! But I also believe not much industrial apps need a fast & crazy computing power. But as anywhere else, this power grows gently.

My Gigabyte Z270-HD3P works fine, has 2 x PCI.

Its a bit of a big link but there are a lot of Industrial type motherboards here - :) - But no prices - These boards are usually quite pricey - Where can these be bought from?

Built a SCOPE v7 on AAEON IMBA-H110A, 2 x SCOPE PCI boards and a LUNA, 32GB RAM, i770k @ 4.5GHz.
Seems OK so far.
Still the same buggy VDAT mind you. Never used to work on SCOPE v4 on XP either.
And the Sync IO card is not recognised, have yet to troubleshoot that...
