Any details? It looks the same except the graphics look funky, not as slick as the previous one. What does LT stand for?

Yes - Lite - as in doesn't use sys file - a'la C350L

Hence no sys file issues when MS change the rules with thier KnockoutBase releases

I see. I was wondering about the sys file not being in the zip since we've had to go through gymnastics to find it finally on SC FTP server (would be convenient to have it it in the ZIP). Well if it's lite on DSP resources, great! But what's with the graphics? Looks like a 4 bit JPG bizzaro version of the "old" one which is (was) really slick.

If it's anything like the instance count difference between C350 and C350L then it will be lighter on DSP. But that's not the point - it's the best shot compromise at a workaround for Win8.1 users whom have had a KB update that interferes with the MasterIT full version.

DAS didn't have to make it - and it was not an easy task to code not having the SYS algo .... Eg like trying to power a Ferrari with a Volkswagen engine.

But there you have it - a gift from generous programmer at least a workaround for the time being where there was none before except roll back OS !

That's really nice !

I just need to watch out then with my old projects and replace MasterIT or C350 with "lite" versions, before i'll upgrade to newer OS.

Oh, right! I forgot about that insidious 8.1 update since my Scope is on 7 I was spared. That's a huge plus for everyone with that so-called update (virus) and I'm sure is greatly appreciated. Ankyu for such a labor of love. We've all known developers who would just point fingers and shrug shoulders. But I still don't get the (IMHO) obvious degradation in the graphics. Upon closer inspection there are some changes on the panel such as the deletion of the curve type on the low-cut and high-cut sections and the addition of "LT" alpha-numeric LEDs on each band which do not seem like they do anything and the deletion of the rotary knobs for the multi-mode filters. I would think that settings of these items would be missing if one were to transition to LT. Can we have some docs on it to explain the changes?

What is great is that the presets from the big MasterIT (as long as you use basic functionality) are compatible with the new lite version.

So : low and hi shelf, low and hipass, and 3 parametrics are compatible. But most importantly the m/s processing in the lite ver is the same as in the "big" version.

It's possible that an improved GUI will come later. Meanwhile the look emulates a real life device that's been used a lot :)

With my own testing, it used less DSP from the XITE-1D enough that I get an extra voice or two poly out of ProWave which I also run with my Mastering plugs / rig.
