I see that your Pro-Wave is like mine... See in the 1st pic, the OSC B volume reads 83, while the knob points to 0. A bit confusing sometimes :)

Do you have the latest version? When I try to switch the wavetables it doesn't do anything :(

hi Tom,

Pro-Wave 2.0 here. The Wavetable and the Wav Oscillators are both working on Win7-64 bit

I had to re-check, as I was almost certain that the WT were working, but I was actually surprised to hear the Wavs working as well. I don't usually load samples in Scope, and I took for granted it wouldn't work, but it does...

[EDIT] The Sample Oscillator also seems to be working on Mod IV!

[RE-EDIT] the STS-5000 also appeared to be working, but not really, it loads programs, but doesn't sample and bluescreens on sample import :)

I think I have 1.2.1. I thought that was the latest one?

Any thoughts?

1.2.1 is the one from Sonic Cores's FTP, also on Zarg's website.

I have that one installed as well, and can confirm that neither WT or Wav Oscillators are working.

The latest one I have is 2.0, I got it directly from John Bowen, back in 2009. Unsure why it never made it to the shop, I believe it's quite stable.

You could try mailing Zarg support directly, the address is on this page: http://www.zargmusic.com/about.html

Maybe there's a newer version too :)

Thanks!

I think I downloaded it from the S|C ftp site. The waves definitely don't work on Solaris 5.0. Crashes Scope.

ok well that's nice to know. Would be nice to have the latest version since that one seems to be working better. Should we bombard John with individual requests or maybe have it posted on either site? Or perhaps there is a reason why it is not officially released yet?

Just got an update...

Hi Tom,

You must be talking about the beta test version I sent to Jimmy V. for something. This was never released, as there were some problems with it - I've attached the most recent version of the Pro Wave that I have on my hard drive.
I need to get a copy of the beta 2.0 back from Jimmy, as I can no longer locate it here!

Cheers,
John B.

I remember there were some beta versions at the time (this was when the synths were first ported to the XITE), but I am pretty sure I got mine directly from JB (even found the corresponding e-mail conversation).

I'll get in touch with him, see if he can use the version I have .

Thanks to the Harmonia(CX) topic, I tried the Venus modular patch by Spirit.
This patch has some very nice pad presets :)

Venus can be found here:
