Grrrr...Scope synths won't play...

Hey all. I've reinstalled my 5.1 to a i5 based computer, using a z97 Hd3 mobo.

Using scope, I can get third party instruments to sound with no problem. I can see them receive midi, and watch their output through the Scope mixer as it leads it to the Pulsar output.

When I hook up, say the Prodyssey, or Modular 4, they both receive midi but play no sound at all. I've checked to make sure that they were on "omni," which they are. I've used the midi monitor to determine if they were actually receiving on/off communication, which it is being sent and received.

There is just no sound.

OK, problem solved, but I don't know why it happened.

I deleted the "bad, bad" mixer and loaded [any other mixer] and the problem magically vanished. WTH.
