yes, it's popular to hate humans these days...

no wonder the forces of badness can have such a good time, no one feels sorry for the humans. i'm kicking some interstellar ass if they come complaining about me. all that good stuff they got being interstellar and they leave us humans scratching through the muck...i'll bet they're drinking interstellar Mai Tais while they complain about us.

I myself didn't experience it as 'complaning', or even negative.
The 'external' point of view is just a common communication move.
Youngsters are used to that level, as the world turns around them (they all can paint  ).

From one of my preferred newspaper I got this one video link.
I'm not sure if those typical newspaper links to interesting or special clips are coming from international news sources or from the local newspaper editors.
Tell me, if so, and I will act more restraint :)

I don't think this is about beauty, like the makers seem to say, at best it's about western Romantic or Baroc icons.
The video is fake art, the originals are not, if that's a question :)
'Inspiring videos' includes those which I give esthetical disapproval, or any disapproval for that matter...

But I found it nice to see those iconic pictures move after all.
That they did very well, I took a close look.
Imagine the same animation approach would be used for Japanese Shunga style pictures over about 300 years

Apple celebrates the 30 years anniversary of the Macintosh computer.
In this context I just checked Apple's 20th anniversary clip of the first macintosh computer (1984).
Not that I wanne state this clip as an 'inspiring video', some would call it arrogantic, but there's a remarkable detail in it:
at the end if the clip there's the name of Hans Zimmer in the list of known people.
Thought I'd share that :)

amazing quality in the details :)

edit: I see I forgot to add the right link in my former post, with the names at the end included.
Can't find it back atm.

3-D printing of a building:
http://vimeo.com/87843940
these people are especially focussed on the technical and material aspects of printing (houses).
I see a lot of socio-political issues which must be 'solved' first tho.
People don't live in shanty towns because of a lack of material :)
And if you print their houses you take away a nice job for the people who should be able to spend the rent.
I see little ideological consciousness with the current tech generation.
I may wish their 'problem solving' focus brings new chances.

Yet the (promo) clip is a nice proof of how fast the devellopments are moving.
Except concerning the ugly Dutch accent

located :D

recording and mixing must have been a hell of a job.
All redundant sounds like footsteps etc. are all muted, en volumes must have bin edited to get the right ritmic feeling.
not to forget all things which have to be done just to get it to the performance alone :)

At Psy festivals you always see those precairly balanced stones sculptures.
It's nice to see them being untouched during the whole festival period.
Here's a clip showing the proces and results of it of someone who made a sport out of it:
