Just checking out some demos of wallander brass. Much better than Garritan I think. Tho the demo is arranged very well. But each instrument seems to have better definition. The trombones are tighter, and the saxes sing better. (more zing)

And the piercing trumpets in this demo score pretty high on my chart. The trumpet slurs in the upper range causing ripps is a great detail to have. I also like it that the trombones are blazing as well. Garritan's trombones are dark and smooth all the way.

$400 for horns and $500 for woodwinds is a bit steep tho.. I guess if I had to pick, I'd pick horns over sax since I can use them in orchestra too. less likely to use sax in anything but funk and jazz. I don't like using woodwinds for symphonic settings anyway. Though ironically, I used to play 1st clarinet.
