Well said, and the new system even in it's compatability mode is a worthy investment.
I look at my 6 x old Sharc's on the XITE board and wonder how long they will be needed.
I actually see SC developing a rack in the future with 6 x AD21360's, no old SHARC's and twice the RAM since the additional RAM is unique in the DSP world and a huge success.
They haven't even made a plug yet to take full advantage of this feature.
I am just being honest here as my head is buried in this thing 24/7 and I can't even use the power this beast provides.
A 1U or small desktop module using RAM and the AD21369's foir a couple of Large would be a huge hit, and more than enough power for an entire production.
To be honest I have no idea of what I will be doing once I get Solaris in 8 weeks. I will still need the B2003, XOR and Prowave, but I will be using maybe 40% of the DSP power I have.
So I really look forward to next rack or box they make, and nowhere else in the market do you see this amount of RAM available without having to drag your PC down. That trick alone should be patented...........Brilliant.

Just got an immediate reply/request answered.
This is the support I often brag about to friends.
It appears as though Flexor III is now able to run in XITE-1 and I only await new keys.
Also am recieving another SpaceF mixer key.
The MB4-II is a critical mixer with serious AUX capabilities and several Bus out groups for sending stems to the FOH or for recording.
Every couple of weeks I am getting something or seeing more optimizations, so I could live like this for a year or so...............
I can only imagine what I will be doing w/ SOlaris and XITE-1 by Christmas...............Dayamn.
Sell my clothes..........I'm going to Heaven.. :D

They DID say there will be I/O expansion modules, so your prayers will surely be answered :D

Small Steps Elly, Small Steps.......................Dr.Arroway's father in the Movie " Contact. " 1998.

I ain't pushing it.
I learned about women the same way.
They like you more if you let 'em spill in thier time..
Firecracker Roses on no special occasion. But never as an I'm sorry gift.
Now imagine me singing " Mordair, Mordair. " outside of some sweet Senorita's window.....
True story. Latin American women are serious dramatists, and romanticists. And I love it.
The corny tradition is most appeling me.
It's really embarrassing when they close their window on you though. That was the I'm sorry gift I wished I never would have attempted, I was a little drunkl so it didn't hurt so bad.
I love Mexican traditions. The lyrics are so deep and corny.
I.E. A guy got dumped by his girl, so he says his heart was so broken so badlym that he rolls over in his grave.........that's some serious shit Bro'.

Just a bit. All major developers except SC publish change logs. As it is you have to install an update and literally hope for the best. Keeping their customers informed is not SC's strong suite. It should be and will have to be if they don't want to inherit Creamware's bad reputation.

When FXPansion issue an update their changelogs include a report of every bug/issue that's been reported since the previous version, whether they could replicate it, which member of staff dealt with it and more. Now that's keeping customers informed.

it's still an RC. there's no reason not to upgrade it. you're going to want the ACTUAL release when it comes out anyway. there's really not much to say about the whole thing, just forward bugs to S/C...

I had the same problem with optimaster and it was due to old installations...
I wrote to SC and they told me to get rid of all old scope files and do a fresh
install. No problems since then... Just take a look on the previous posts
to get some details...

thx, for quick response.

i know the problem with the v4 and v5 installation.
thats why i have both installations in different folders.
i have no problems with optimaster or any other soniccore plugin or 3rd party device.
i just got the key problem with this 3rd party synth.
the pro-wave is a device file and has nothing to do with an installation.

can anybody confirm that pro-wave v1.21 is scope v5 compatible?

Prowave 1.21 works well in both Brotha' Man Emphazer.
You should contact JBowen for any updates.
I was told that sys. files were Windows '98 hangovers and no longer needed, but that was changed back when it was discovered how many synths from 3rd party guys used them.
Personally I would stay w/ 4.0/4.5 but mess around with 5.0 to see you like or could use.
JBowen was working w/ the guys at SC on the XITE-1 and it's compatability, and Scope 5.0 and XITE-1's software are very similar.

Some people had this problem in the previous version. Dunno what it is but it's fine here. Try a reinstall.

Confirm, only show if you create a new routing but cables not appear at start of any patches.

There is a thread somwhere where they explain how to use scope 5 in xtc mode.
It might be under the XTC thread:)
