hello
this is my first post here.

often when pulsar is running i get this blu screen message "error in vmm.vxd", i also sometimes get an windows protection violation, you need to reboot message, and sometimes my computer just reboots without any warning.
are there any link between these apperantly random faults??

my hardware are
p4 1,8 ghz with northwood
mobo abit bd7
512 ddr ram
2 ide drives- one for os/applications/samples and the other one for audio streaming
luna2
pulsar1 srb (iv added numboards=2 in scet.ini)
pulsar soft v3.01
gforce2 agp

the cw cards share irq 11 only with each other and "acpi irq holder for pci steering"

i got intel application accelerator installed.
pci latency is 64( but it happens also when its set to 128)

iv dissabled all the com ports, lpt port usb port etc

help or any suggestions will be very appreciated

i really want this fixed before v3.1 is out.

<a href=http://www.techadvice.com/issues/how-to ... 2=(ME)>For VMM errors click here.</a> Not quite enough info to give a precise answer - write down the whole message verbatim if possible.

Sort of sounds like you don't have the i850 chipset drivers installed. <a href=http://support.intel.com/support/mother ... .htm>check the install order for i850</a>.

Finally it COULD be bad stick(s) of RAM. What brand? Can you try with 2 other sticks instead?

What kind of Power Supply are you using? (rating/brand)
