Post by Music Manic »

Is there a device delay that also has a modulated filter, that can also transpose the signal?

Thanks

you can easily hook up a "pitch shifter delay " module and a filter module of your choice in modular.

indeed, especially as i had all this content to re-do. Now that the site is configured, it is more easy. The tutorials are live takes, no edit possible, and for every live, there are a few rehearsals.... I do not work the "music" or sounds to much, rather what ppl should know to make their own sounds.
Glad you like them , the english is horrible :-)

sorry i forgot to add the credit for Ben Walker who helped me a lot with the English, spelling etc (of the written part) and some other improvements in the articles .... without him, it would be much less good. (and if you see a terrible english grammar mistake, you know who to complain to ;-) (just kidding).
i'll stop hacking this thread now ...
have a nice week

What does the pitch shift and filter sound like on vocals though?

Thanks

Hello Music Manic.

Echo is also calibrated for voices, which was 50% of the material I used while making it. It will of course sound great.

There is an mp3 demo with voice (on my site / audio demos page). The volume is a bit low and special effects are used there, so i do not know if you will hear what you want to hear in that track.

Otherwise there is also the demo which should allow you to make an opinion and manipulate the device as you want. It is in the BlackBox demo pack in the download page. Unfortunately, I think the demo version does not have the pitch modulation: it will allow you use the filters and all other functions though.

edit: mp3 player : http://www.spacef-devices.com/dacore/in ... &Itemid=69

Track is in the Echo folder (04-Echo) and is called "Echo Pitch Modulation". It shows some unusual effects achieved with Echo on a voice and a guitar.

This and the tutorial should let you have an opinion on Echo pitch and filters.
