I guess the question wasn't asked clearly enough, was it? Is it possible to use YAMAHA PRO MIX 01 mixer (not 01v, not any other "best controller", just pro mix 01) as a motorized midi controller for PulsarMixer through Pulsar midi interface? Is it?

Any device which can send midi CCs in the standard 0-127 configuration should work fine. Only becomes a problem if:
1) there is no "local off" - so changes of the knobs/faders effect the device itself - (there are workarounds for a device limitation like this if you think creatively), and
2) the knobs send CCs on different midi channels - again, this is easy to fix particularly for Logic users, just a simple midi remap in the environment, other workarounds exist probably too.
3) some knobs send MSB/LSB which sends a 'higher resolution' CC, these won't work w/ Pulsar without some tricky midi remapping.

Thanks subhuman. Actually, I kept all this in mind when I was asking about particular product.)
So, now the question is - does ProMix 01 fit all these demands?
