What ASB Would you like to see next?

The spirit of this comment seems to be directed at making an authentic recreation of the real Prophet 5, 5 octave keyboard & all. Thus, the Minimax keyboard should have 3 1/2 octaves, the Prodyssey keyboard should have 3 octaves, & the B4000 keyboard should have 2 6 octave keyboards & 2 octaves of foot pedals (Hammond players could surely forgive CW for going with a single tier 6-octave with keyboard splits, they might even prefer it).

I have a studio full of keyboards and have little space. For me the ASB is just right. Not too big, not too small. Controls are just right.

I would like selectable filter types on all the ASB's as the filter is what makes these sound unique. The Prodessey is the right way to go with the two filters.

But I want an OBX sounds as well. Can I have an Oberhiem please?

I am not convinced about drum machines for the ASB series, as for me these might as well be software. For synths I want control and control for me is best by an ASB box as I can use two hands at teh same time.If I do not need immediate control, then software is fine as I can use my mouse on my bank of moniters. How ofetn do I change my drum sounds? Not every few minutes! It is horses for courses and in my studio the ASB is just perfect as it is.

I think if people want a full emulation of the MINI or Prophets then some enterprising indviduals could set up a business for this integrating the creamware ASB in a wooden cabinet and keyboard. However Creamware are excellent at the ASB and I think them breaking into the keyboard market is gonna make them diversefy into the dodgey markets and could make them go bust and I do not want that.

Partnering with a keyboard company who can take the shared risk (like m-audio, novation etc) could be beneficial all around.

Just think how mighty such a partnership for the "Vintage Collection" could be against the large corporate world of Roland and Korg (and yes I have Roland and Korg synths and think they are fine in their own way).

Ok, this range of boxes are named Authentic Sound Boxes so they should remind us of oldies...
But I would think this would now be time for something completely new (named Futuristic Sound Boxes...).

Great features would be :
- full featured sound generator allowing full control in term of pitch and phase modulation and offering some more complex waveform (I mean waveform and not multisamples though I would also much appreciate to get some user-programmable wavetable oscillator...)
- a wider range of filters providing a choice of analog filter circuit emulation together with somme enhanced feature like combfiltering, formant filtering modes, and more modulation control
- some more complex pan control together with amplitude control

Does the solaris provide phase distortion oscillators John ???
Or would it be possible ?
Any news about a SOLARIS ASB ?
