Hi all--thanks for all the contributions to this nice resource.

Anyone still using the Promix 01 still as inputs to the Pulsar 2? I've upgraded to Pulsar 2 from Delta 1010 and am trying to decide what to use as far as additional inputs (feeding Logic 4.8). I definitely would like balanced ins, so I suppose a few options are as follows:
--continue with Delta (both cards simultaneously))
--a Promix I can get real cheap from a friend
--kick down for A16 ultra
--old blackface ADAT lying around
--other?

thanks again

My advice would be to put the cash from the Delta sale into an A16 Ultra... the converters will be balanced, 24bit, and 96khz capable (although you will probably want to run at 44.1 or 48khz).

ProMix is an interesting option but it's rather old and the converters will definitely not sound as good, likewise with the Delta (although I'd venture a guess that the Delta would sound better than the Promix, just a guess).

I'd also choose the A16, after hearing only the 'small brother' Luna IOBox, i'm already convinced

The Delta has the best coverters (at that price) I know! Check the specs! Awesome. I sold my delta when I started using Pulsar
