Assigning several knobs to one single midicontroller..?

Has anyone found a way to assign several knobs to one single midicontroller- i.e.
the modulationwheel? It would really open new doors into weird soundscapes and simplified controlling.

Thank you, very handy on modules with modulation-inputs. But if you want to do some simultaneous tweaking on several knobs on modules without modulation-inputs, how do you do it? Or am I missing something here?
