Any chance for this being created? I have yet to find a stereo wave player, module in Scope.

Or perhaps ive overlooked it.

I miss my STS sampler very much, and the STS OSC just crashes my system.

Has anyone here used the STS OSC successfully in windows 64 bit without the BSOD and muticore CPU?


Im going to run a MemTest on my ram, sadly i think one of my chips is corrupted.(ddr2)

Just as I suspected: I order new Ram sticks so hopefully i can get to use these modules, really miss my Scope songs.

ok, but the older sample oscs and STS do NOT work in 64bit.

i believe that there are newer sample oscs in Flexor that work, but that may not be correct. of course, in 32bit, the sample oscs work correctly.

i will look/try those, by any chance how important is the Ram timing tables CAS# RAS# to Scope, i just noticed that i have a oddball chip that is not of the same speed and timings as my other chips.

Well so far so good, with i think is the Flexor Sample OSC though i would have to run it into the ground to see if its stable.



So is there no Stereo Sample OSC available?

Ah well spoke to soon, locked up on me. I will try again when the new ram arrives.

yep, there is a sample osc in the package.

the bc modular has sts sample osc that have stereo outs ang a panning control function

yes BCM has five sample osc variations, two of them stereo.
you can load Akai & STS programs, and Soundfont.
But I'm quite sure that it doesn't work in 64 bit though.

I second that. But maybe Flexor V is out and I didn't get it

my son who is doing design and games

they use a program called oracle where you can run a xp 32 install at the same time as the 64bit

with drivers for both as it works of a separate hd

so that when they are coding it works correctly in x86 and 64bit enviroments and can test between the 2

It's a virtualization environment, it's good for coding on multiple operating systems, but it doesn't allow every hardware to run natively.

jhulk, is that in the updated BC modular version as the 3 sample osc from bc modular i have only has 1 red connection for the output

disregard you said 'sts sampler osc', that crashed when i tried to use it the first time, ill try again when my ram arrives

STS will always crash in 64bit windows.

just a joke. there are two Flexor versions - 1 and 3.
Assaf left out V2 I think because so much time has elapsed between V1 and V3.
So next update (which never will come) would be V5, or?
