bugs in mod3

Post by the19thbear »

Hi.
I have some mod3 patches that work fine when i create them, but as soon as i want to reload them, they dont make any sound anymore... they contain normal things like vco's vcf's vca's, adsr's and the chorus.

Any thoughts on possible solutions?
Anyone experienced this? i'll post a screenshot later.

I think it has something to do with the installation path ... but I can't remember where I read this.

I have somtetime this problem :(
but only if i use flexor envelopes .. i only use this one

felxor env out -> 6db low pass -> VCA
(6db low pass to avoid clicks on low atacks :)

sometimes ater reloading a patch its necessary to delete the env or the low pass filter module
didnt find out why :)

my workflow:
if a patch did not work i disconnect the audio out and connect all possible singnal paths to the audio output (step by step) to find the broken module ...mostly the vca in has a singal but not the vca out not=> control path mostly the env module was broken

It's the pathway.
It comes from duplication of certain modules that have been moved, etc.
Try and move the Poly out fader and see if it has any effect.
Once you get the sound back resave.
