Maybe there's a magic button for Shroomz knobs options too........... :lol:
I am very happy to have these modules, even if they look like Bar-BQ Briquettes.... :D
I really like the way they were careful in the module choices they made. Nothing repeated by the old Mod II/III, Flexor III, Roy, Sharc or Shroomz.
Total consideration for the users.
I am really going to miss all the cackling hens. I am sure there will be some snivelings about something.
All I know is a little Angel whispered this is in my ear 7 months ago ( Modular modules are all optimized Pendajo ) and I am sure glad I listened.....


edit: The Ladder Filter is a crucial module. I have one sort of in Modular but it won't save the settings in my presets so this is a perfect addition.

Looking at (eg) the Audio IN module, it looks as if all modules will get the new look and feel.

It looks awesome, and feels new, which are both good things. CZ modules? :D

The "free licenses for patches" is also a cool thing - I might even try my luck, though I find it highly improbable that I can get in the "top 3"...

Cool, I really hope for a MIDI out module, so finally I can create some Modular patches that modify MIDI signals...
Any modular expert here can recognize something similar in this list?
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

I recognize the Lorenz and Roessler Attractors. These are great mathematical ways to create various spirals in Surround mixing, similar to automations JLCooper hardware can provide, but I haven't thought about how that can be applicable to Modular, except maybe for spiraling LFO's or some wierd shit.
This is just a taste of things to come. I'd say that most card owners interested in Modular will be excited to see this.
Currently, Modular is optimized already for the XITE-1 as I can load as many as my MIDI channels will allow, and then 8 controller patches, and a dozen or so of effects.
It's becoming a giant Modular.
I was saddened to see my Bowen synths struggling w/ load times and thankfully JB & Ralf helped optimize them to an extent, but for me Modular is ready to roll and has no limits as long as I assign them their own DSP's. The ones that are really big can be spanned.
But I am working with an older version and I am sure there is a new optimizing trick added again like last time. I need another MIDI hardware port now. Aww the hell with that. I'll get rid of all these cheezy sampled instruments and go all Modular. 16 x synths all with seperate effects and automated mixing....The FM & Additive patches I use for transistor combo Organs, and FM Epianos can have 16 voices, and the synths have 8.
I am jazzed up for this. I was just starting to really dig into Modular 2 months ago, and this is just another stab in the ass for me... :D
The Phase Distortion stuff looks great too.
Perhaps I can use the mathimatical equations to help automate circular patterns in Ultraphonic Circular LFE 8.1.
It's a hidden feature in Kontakt nobody seems interested in, but it's a great way to automate the Kontakt mixer w/ surround patterns and turn those worthless samples into something useful. Maybe they will sound more realistic with all of the panning. The listener will be hypnotized by the motions and not notice the imperfections and overall fakenes of my samples.

Anybody have a clue to what a Terrain Oscillator is...?
Is it an Oscillator that can recreate the sound of offroad ATV's... :lol: ........ankyu........
Perhaps a 2 Dimensional Vector Wavetable of sorts..............?

Terrain 1 is the sound of Ozzy Osbourne going off of a cliff.........ankyu........
Terrain 2 is the sound of an ATV going uphill on a 30 degree grade.
Terrain 3 is an ATV being kicked over because it won't start
Terrain 4 is the sound of XITE-1/4 Live hitting a tree on the slopes of Heavenly....( Sonny Bono Style ... :o ..)

CZ Osc ... Raah they did it before I found any trick to implement this with the SDK !!!

This is one of the feature I miss from the Scope platform.

Now I could sell my oldest gear :D the Casio CZ-101.

Just imagine you have an oscillator providing PWM behaviour on non rectangle waveforms (sinus, morphing from saw up to saw down with triangle in the middle ...)

I just have to get that !!!

I emailed Christpher LLoyd and he said it was actually an Analog Oscillator used in the infamous Flux Capacitor.
We have to place it in the shell at precisely the time the big second hand hits the 12 o'clock postition.

I should have explained something about S|C to you. They speak good English but write it in unique way.
They use a weird translator as the wording on the site says, availlable up from 15.12.
It was better expained in the email.
So they mean to say Available on 12/15.
For a buck and a half it's a sore dick deal.

So that's the reason why Clavia stopped producing the Nord Modular G2 !!! :D

The competition was to hard versus all the potential of Modular 2/III/IV + Flexor + Zarg RD modules + SpaceF modules + all the free additionnal one.

Roy, I think you will have to upgrade your already beautifull website :)
