FM Feedback

Post by grappa »

Can anyone guide me on how I create a feedback loop on a modulator in Mod 2?

I've been reading about FM in SOS Synth Secrets (jeez the maths is tough) but I've managed to build myself a simple 2 operator synth and it sounds.. well....FM'ish :)

Been looking at the DX7 algorithms and want to re-create and have a mess!

I'm off to have fun with Bessel functions...not

Grappa, in short, for any feedback path you want to make, you have to insert an Xmod/FB Connector somewhere in the path.

I also recall a standalone device combining 2 of these in a device, IIRC by Neutron or Wolf.
