Yes, you are right but as I'm not feeling comfortable with all modules and connection types yet, I prefer to just name it.
By the way, the most weird thing about modular at the moment for me is it's midi out.
Apparently (and stop me whenever you want) it's not been thought as a potential midi note/gate sequencer for the outer world.
I mean, it's midi capabilities are apparently for audio internally but my own present goal is to use it to sequence directly some other midi devices. The fact documentation is at best laconic about it and that I couldn't find any tutorial on midi out yet doesn't help...
Any thoughts?
Modular tutorials
Re: Modular tutorials
isistoy,
Check out this page at cwmodular:
http://www.cwmodular.org/html/midi-tools.html
Especially the fra77 modules on the right. They basically import a midi out and a sequencer out into the modular window. You will need to delete them from your project before loading them.
You might find some of the other explanations useful as well.
Also check out Flexor and Wolf's Midi ToolBox.
Cheers,
Cory

Re: Modular tutorials
The thing is I already bought midi toolbox and am the happy owner of Flexor III and couldn't find any useful tut on how to throw some midi out (I mean, not CC values, thanks to valmonitor)?!
I guess I shall ask it clearly as a topic in here.

Re: Modular tutorials
isistoy,
Based on your question in the other thread, wouldn't fra77's module allow you to output midi to the hardware sequencer, or is this still just control data? I haven't tried, so I can't answer you directly.

Re: Modular tutorials
I guess I shall use the search before asking things...

Re: Modular tutorials
There is even a tutorial device called example_w_flexor on how to do
I tried using Hyper Note Seq rather than a Hyper Control but with no luck yet.
dunno what to plug in Freq-In of the Not Seq (tried constants but couldn't give any relevant value for the pitch to be correctly rendered).
Any hints?

Re: Modular tutorials
Tried to modify the tutorial with that.
Still, some notes don't seem to be well synchronized when looped.

Re: Modular tutorials
This one looks promising.
I made a change with mixer instead of Int Add for constant.
Hyper Note classic because of pattern switching.
Also, I switched on quantizing in Freq 2 Note and deleted Freq Monitor (which seemed to pose the accuracy pb).
