I just checked Creamware prices on novamusic.com and am confused:

Option 1
--------
Pulsar II ADAT
24 ADAT I/O
6 DSPs
$1100

Option 2
--------
Luna II, ADAT expansion, and Pulsar XTC
24 ADAT I/O (plus 2 analog I/O)
9 DSPs
$330 (Luna) + $170 (ADAT) + $770 (XTC) = $1270

So, for the paltry sum of $170, one can get three more DSPs and an additional analog I/O.

If you're going ADAT, why would you EVER buy Pulsar when you could get Luna + XTC?

Just curious...

Pulsar comes with extra software. Quite a bit of it, mixers, effects, synths...

With your setup, you take 3 PCI slots for 2 cards, maybe not a problem for some setups, but...

subhuman,

You sure about the extra software in Pulsar II vs XTC?

This list seems to indicate otherwise:

Doh! You're right. Sorry -- mixer packages and Modular V2 is an extra with XTC.
