4U BLACK rackmount cases $119

Brand new, still sealed, w/o power supply. Shipping in the US is approx $20 for Fedex Ground.

These rack cases are particularly nice as they are 17.75" deep, so they will fit into an SKB ATA style rackmount case, with both end caps fitted. Deeper rackmount systems, of course, will not.

<li>3x5.25" external (adapters can be used to mount 3.5" in one of these bays)
<li>2x3.5" (1 external, 1 internal)
<li>19", 4U. Black.
<li>Standard LEDs.
<li>Power supply NOT included.
<li>Identical to the machine pictured on infinitevortex.com only black with a slightly different drive bay cover (same size, shape, weight, etc)

I have 3 of these and am clearing out inventory for Spring. We're taking a break from building machines.

i have one of sub's boxes - it arrived dead quiet - not a sound. but then I bought a power supply and CPU fan . . .

oh well, guess i will keep the box in the wardrobe! didn't expect them to be quiet for that price anyway.. the quiet ones start at 500 euros here

To anyone buying a box, I can give you great advice on fans and PSs to use that are extremely quiet. I can also include some Sonex Accoustic foam for $9 a sheet, one is probably enough to cover the top, and it reduces a good deal of the "high pitched" sounds from fans.

There are also 2 fans in these cases, 1x120mm, and 1x80mm, which come from the factory. I would suggest not using them, they are loud, I remove these and install different ones.
