hi... i was wondering, if i wanted to get started with pulsar plugin programming, where should i start?
and what software do i use for programming? any good "getting started" sites?

it's like Marcus said: unless you want to do some highly commercial stuff - and possibly have a businessplan ready :wink: don't worry about it. You'd even have to convince CW of your talent to license it to you, as it doesn't seem to be a regular product anymore.
But you can get a fair impression of how it works by using the Modular III. Devices are constructed exactly in the way you connect the modules of the synth. The developement system is just more detailed.
Afaik there's no (fundamental) difference in efficiency of modular patches compared to the same device build with the developement system.
The difference is most of all an improved user interface.

It's a Max MSP clone that runs on Windows.
It has the tendency to make your brain go hay wires because the modules are so elemental. (like, 1 and 1 connected to a "+" module connected to a number box gives you 2)
Stick with Mod III to make your life easier.
