Post by broken_halo » Thu Dec 29, 2011 10:09 am

Hey all , I'm just working on a track here - would like some vocal effect to mimic a bent speak and spell . I have been getting ok results in vocodizer but am just not getting that "touch" if you know what I mean . ANY help would be great fully appreciated

Sonic Couture offers a free Kontakt library that has bent samples.

You could also take what you have with the vocodizer, send it through a bit-crusher if you wanna stay inside SCOPE. Then a very tiny amount of ring-modulation just so the high-end gets a little tin sounding. The should give you the extra "annoyances" (grit) the true speak & spell provides :)
