My Automated Small Venue Showroom

Post by dawman »

This has been an ongoing project for the last year which will replace the ancient rig now being used. Currently I was using the Yamaha QX-1 for sequencing, and automation of lights and synths plus all vocal effects. The Yamaha TX-816 for synths etc., and the JL Cooper MIDI Light Controller. I quickly sequenced 24 new tunes for the 5 girls, and added a drummer, bass, and 2 man crew.

This will be the new set up in Februrary.
5 girls w/ Ultimate Ears 3 way wireless monitors
Drums, Bass, and myself on Keyboards and all programming.
SFP DAW #1 Gigastudio 3 w/ Solaris, Pro One, and B2003.
SFP DAW #2 Pro Wave Modular, and Flexor II. ( Still to be built )
SFP DAW #3 DAS Modular mixer FOH / Monitors w/ Cubase 4, and Giga VST
SFP DAW #4 Drum submixer w/ Gigastudio

2 x M Audio KS88 Pro USB MIDI Controllers

KS88 #1 will run Cubase 4, DAS Modular Mixer, and Merlin MIDI Controller
KS88 #2 will be for Gigastudio, and Scope.

Thanks To All Involved To Make This Dream A Reality,
John Bowen, ReD_MuZe, SpaceF, Digitalaudiosoft, Celmo, Chris Werner, Shroomz, Sharc, and last but not least GaryB. Any advice coming from these people should be considered as gold. And the beautiful choreographer Shelley W. of Las Vegas for turning these girls into a group of talented dancers.
