I remember the old Crew Version 3 mixer, does anyone still have the device? I liked it very much. Can somebody send it?

blue, called "big mixer"?

there's a reason that mixer isn't in Scope anymore. it had some serious phase issues. that's how the "big mixer" became the "bug mixer".

Shame on me, but I love big mixer. It gives a clean overview and it allows to modify the eq within the main window.
The later mixers are nice, but I miss the simplicity and overview of big mixer.
For this reason, I'm very happy, that it still runs on V7.

So what you are after is the ease of use of being able to see General channel strip settings in one glance across the mixer like many current DAWs offer. I do like seeing my ra curves for the stock EQ in logic at the top of each channel for instance, so I understand this. I was going to suggest That the STM mixers also have built in functionality like the Bigmixer but with phase lock functionality in the mixer, until I read the above post and realized Ed this is related to the following discussion: viewtopic.php?t=35401

GaryB, this may be worth passing by CW. A few tweaks to the STM GUI would address this stuff ( realizing of course that this simply puts another item on holger’s to do list ).

yes, this would not be a pressing matter at this time.
the big mixer did have a nice layout. if you like it, use it. now we know who has a copy.

perhaps someone with the SDK could modify the big mixer. i believe the v3 brought the STM series, so it was in v1 and 2.

Found it, thanks nebelfuerst. Attached a screenshot so we can see what the UI fuss is all about & Marco has what he wanted.

I do think that I would still prefer STM, but I'm open to hearing a comparison of what this offers versus that based on what we can now see. I also suggest referring to SpaceF's mixers here: http://spacef-devices.com/

:D This mixer has a great overview! I still love it and use it now. No need to be complicated while being creative!

The channel layout in Big Mixer was great - and I never had any sonic issues with the Big mixer. But the fact of having to switch between 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16 is why I eventually stopped using it.
