polyphonic (chords) Arpeggiator?

Post by ARCADIOS »

Hi,
I've been using scope's arpeg2 with some of scope's synths... very nice indeed, but I was wandering if there is a way to play chords, so the arpeggiator would play chords instead of single notes...... Any nice ideas??

You could probably run this device after your Arp.. http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=34599

Mattomat is perfect but not for free. No other sequencer was better ever!

Just trying to understand the device you are after:
Are you looking for a device that will play various inversions of a chord depending on the notes played?

by the way I found a minor bug in pitch shifter S
Coarse Level L and R go 24 semitones lower and 24 semitones higher but only if you use PC keyboard writing number 24 or -24.
the knobs go till 23 or -23///// that must be easy to fix.... in SDK I guess

mausmuso, yes.... that's what I mean... different combinations depending on the chords I play, but with the simple function of repeating only the chords played at the moment(not other combinations)

Mattomat is overkilled for your needs. Watch the video and you ll see what it can do for you. Maybe it appetizes you. I know no other seqenzersuff on the market what does the same. I have it at home I know what I talk about.
But you could buy a Korg minilogue, this internal sequenzer is a good one too.

Ask Gary for a demo key for mattomat? I think you will find it exactly (and even more) what you are looking for

Now whether you want to pay.....well

You can add many instances of the mattomat and control scope synths and vst and external Hardware synthesizers together with the touch of your fingers, plays your stuff in a way that you can not believe. Get creative.

You could also use the free BlueARP VST.

Looks great. With the Mattomatt, can you vary the lengths? So say you run two instances of it, could you have one playing 16th notes and the other quarter notes? Looks very nice

Heres some stuff about Mattomat http://www.hitfoundry.com/issue_15/mat_mast.htm Matthias described the trick you are talking about so I dare say he already done it.

To answer to my own question about polyphonic rythmic synth.... I do the job with profit5. Scopes original synth. Polyphony set to 8 for instance....Lfo bpm set to midi and many choices of rythm.. 1/2, 1/4....1/16 etc.....
