I have this motherboard, it has 3 pci slots, but, 3rd pci slot is usable if you want to use cpu's onboard graphic, or graphic card which is slim enough or has cooler on other side of card :)

Graphic card is simple , asus r5 230 1gb silent and slim.

But i recommend using pci-e card than onboard graphic, cause i had some timing issues (cubase sequencer) with onboard graphic.
Motherboard supports both cpu's Skylake (which i have i7 6700) or Kaby lake (with latest bios installed).

Masterverbs test - loading = 12 (after 13 pci limit)

I use external synths to relieve the pc. This is a very old idea from the time when Atari was the most modern computer system, this was your Way to make your day with a computer system in your studio, and today, there is it still a good way. Because with the scope you have all unlimited possibilities to integrate. It is not said that there is an obligation to use only a computer system to make music. With scope you can use and integrate everything ever aviable in Studio.
 out and about for music production. Are you still configguring your Studio  music first!
