Hi,
If I plug VDAT-inputs from my DAW and just plug V-DAT outputs to My DAW without record into V-DAT , it's the same thing ? (same quality as V-DAT recording)
V-DAT as a summator
V-DAT as a summator
Sonic Core Luna II + Pulsar II scope v5.1.2709-x64, Cubase 9.0.20 (64), Pro Tools 12.7, Wavelab element 9 (64), windows 8.1 pro (64), Asus P6T 18Go RAM core i7 920, SSL Duende Native - Lexicon PCM Reverb Bundle - Waves - Sonnox
Re: V-DAT as a summator
it doesn't matter at all - Scope can only communicate via Asio or Wave/WDM drivers with the DAW
there is no magic thing in VDAT, it's just the plain bits as sent between DSPs
any difference you may perceive is due to what the drivers or DAW engine process
(usually by scaling input or changing numeric format)
cheers, Tom
