Scope DSP applied to other formats?

Post by Stevil »

Creamware B4000, Minimax, Prodyssey ASB housed Scope software in standalone desktop synth boxes & Noah was a Rack unit. Has any effort gone into housing other Scope "plugins" & effects in other formats like Pedals or Eurorack? Companies like Strymon are making great DSP based fx pedals & i've noticed a couple DSP based Eurorack devices, just wondering if it were possible to put all these great Scope devices to work in other formats that support DSP?

What might the legal & technical hurdles be?

(if this discussion has already been had, i'd love a link)

Scope technology IS in some other companies' stuff, but it's a secret...

I think it be killer for a guitar pedal with Modular running on it!! Use USB or network for the editor, etc...

Mmmm, modular in a pedal! That's a great idea! You'll probably only need one Sharc.

I've been thinking the same thing. Eurocrack is becomming a pretty big thing. With all the modules and special devices already on Scope, it might make sense for soniccore to do at least a few products or team up with a eurorackdeveloper to get a presence within eurorack, get some publicity and hopefully move some units.

Oh, sheizer! Sonic Score has NDAs with the big brothers :D

That's good. I think other companies could use some help :)
