stereo to mono
Is there a device in Scope that receives a stereo input and outputs it as a mono signal?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes. The channel strip panned hard left or hard right !
Re: stereo to mono
Yes, but no. It will not be summed mono. It will just be left or right.

not if you use 2 channels, each panned the same way....Immanuel wrote:Yes, but no. It will not be summed mono. It will just be left or right.

Re: stereo to mono
The Channel strip only has one channel. It can be done with i.e. the micro mixer, though. On Xite, the Dynamic Mixer use less resources, though, despite being more advanced.garyb wrote:not if you use 2 channels, each panned the same way....Immanuel wrote:Yes, but no. Re: stereo to mono
Ok then ... Two mono channels of the micromixer both panned the same way !!Immanuel wrote:Yes, but no. It will not be summed mono. It will just be left or right.
Re: stereo to mono
if the two channels of a stereo track are to be mono'd, well, then they aren't a single stereo track, they are two mono tracks that just need to be summed. no special equipment required....
