Lemur for Scope is awesome! Please share all your templates.

Post by helldriver »

Hi guys,
i finally bought me an ipad just to use Lemur. I have to admit Lemur is much better than I anticipated. until now i tested just the profit but guys it´s an interface dream!!!! and that´s mainly because Lemur is bidirectional which means, that all knobs on a Lemur template change with a new chosen preset. thats so cool!!!! it´s even better than any hardwaresynth (except the nordlead 3 which does basically the same with hardware).
i really recommend the lemur! it´s fantastic.
Since Lemur is so fascinating, i also wanted to ask all Lemur using Scopeians, if they would share their templates on this forum or anywhere else? that would be so nice. I will share my profit patch too, as soon as it´s perfect.

I own the hardware version and I find it awesome, and could never be without.
Sadly the file exchange is not possible from old and new versions.
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

I like the new release...allows editing on the iPad instead of needing the computer editor. And LiveControl2 is coming soon.

It is time for some templates here. Regardless of SCOPE 6 or not, the templates will be very useful!

Is this a midi controler on the IPad or what is it.

just a plain and simple Midi connector like this one from IK Multimedia
a more solid approach is the Alesis ioDock which also offers analog IO with instrument micpre
depends on how the iPad is mounted during performance

Lemur can do everything! Including sysex! Which is good for older synth which only have full edit with sysex :)

good you put this up - my answer was strictly related to the Scope control scenario.
(which doesn't need sysex)
but for someone who wants a combined system to also serve older synth hardware the dock will fail
and there will never be an update because the dock's processor memory is just too small for proper sysex
(not my finding but from a dude who's familiar with such hardware midi stuff)

We have all set on all songs but we will use it for sure in live situations for small changes,
like leslie speed on B2003 or maybe Celmo s dub delay on Sologuitar.
Thanks for info.

With a few adjustments, these templates might be a good place to start:

Creamware ASB PRO-12:
http://liine.net/en/community/user-library/view/232/

Use Audio Templates:

Prodessey:

Pro-12:

When uploading a Lemur patch, can everyone also upload a MIDI preset for the scope device? That'd make everything gravy.
