Should I start with v3.1 or v4.0?

Hi everybody. This is my first post here. I'm getting a second-hand Pulsar II this week that has v3.1. This will be my first Creamware product. I was wondering if it's better to download and install v4.0 right away or start with v3.1 first. Also, are there screenshots of both versions somewhere to look at?

Thanks,
Chisel

start with v 4.0. just make sure you have scope 4.0 key. If not email rb@creamware.de with your Serial Number and nicely request a key for scope4.0

4.0 loads a bit faster, and you have the new logo.
No reason for 3.1

hi hubird,

"4.0 loads a bit faster, and you have the new logo. No reason for 3."

Except to avoid that new logo :-)

Thanks for all your feedback! Looks like I'll be installing v4.0. So do I just install the software and then unlock all the packs by entering the appropriate keys? Are there any extras included with v4.0 that aren't already on the existing registration list?

The extras are: better work environment, a few minor bug fixes and some new presets if I remember well.

Version 4.0 is more stable and indeed, it loads things faster than 3.x

You’ve got an incredible too, LEANR IT, and you’ll be surprised at what you can do, it is not just a sound card, it truly is a whole high quality studio you have now at home. Keep reading the forum
