Discover DSP File

Post by dawman »

I’ve got some devices I’m trying to use again but they require a missing DSP File but the name doesn’t correlate to any files I have.
How can I figure out which File is needed.

Thanks

Which devices are they. Maybe I or someone has the zipped up version we can look for you. Worth a try :)

SHARC CC16 Module meant to control an emulation of a Hammond B3’s upper and lower drawbars, which are 9 for each section, but SHARC provided 2 x sections of 16 CC#s, although you could send a single CC into the module and send out 32 automations.
I’ve got the DSP File on my spare PCs but my spare doesn’t have it.
The work around is to copy the Folders from the other PCs but I really want to know the name of this thing a majig.

Iirc the dsp.idx file contains the translations between real file name and symbolic name (which the error message uses) for all dsp items in the Scope dsp folder.

that is a problem that can probably only be fixed with the SDK. it's not a dsp file issue.

... and not even a file issue
these 'pads' are basically software connection points similiar to those in the routing window

Well mine works fine, Im trying help a fellow Scope who wanted the module.
Sent him DSP Folders, none worked, so it’s definitely something else.
He has SDK and will probably fix it.
I even sent the Patch I made it for.

It’s my drawbar modules SHARC made.
One MIDI CC# in, 16 out, or 128 CC#s as each module is 16, all with lag processors and curve modifiers.

That means there are other necessary files related to that dsp file.

might be an older sdk device, and maybe not 100% compatible, especially if it uses a sys or vxd file.

That’s why I’m going to send Sys and dll. folders.
The module is definitely worth the hassle.

And Modular and BCModular are older SDK devices so that makes perfect sense.

The fellow Scoper will be happy.

that is kind.

since the plugin works for you, that will probably do it. it's too bad when these things get lost.

valis is probably correct.

system file exchange is not the way to find to little answer:
what file is missing for this hyper cooly sharc-toy??
or
which coolness file have sdk 4, what miss in the rest scope cosmos??

!its only "polarity"+"source" problem <> routing recorder?

have already started several attempts to solve the problem, all without success

CC16 loading status:

#pci x86 winXP
sfp 3.1 > Error
sfp 4.0 > Error

sdk 4.0 > Run :) !!!! but can`t found the file-source
sfp 4.5 > Error
scope 5.1 > Error
sdk 5 > Error
sdk 6 > Error
scope 7 > Error
sdk 7 > Error

#xite x86 winXP
scope 5.1 > Error
sdk 5 > Error
sdk 6 > Error
scope 7 > Error
sdk 7 > Error

#xite x64 win7
scope 5.1 > Error
sdk5 > Error

sdk 6 systemBUG on my System, shit :(
scope 7 systemBUG on my System, shit :(
sdk 7 systemBUG on my System, shit :(

Did you want to copy my Sys folder since the DSP folder isn’t working?

You could just use 16 of SpaceFs CC2x2 Devices too.
