Cool...
Friday night rehearsals usually occur on downtime.
I'm off until end of January.
Then with any luck Ice Storms will cancel work so I can just play for another month.
Nobody likes downtime more than me.

Cheerz and Thanks Ray

If you have 3 plugins (dont matter if they were bundled), AND one of them is one of the recently released racks then; yes you are entitled to the free plug.

So for example if one has the dNa-EffectRack + dNa-Optimus Prime + ANY OTHER dNa plugin; Woohooo you got yourself a present.

Just have to wait a little longer since im finishing up on it.

Sadly...if one doesnt have at least one of the racks you're not YET entitled. If you get one later on this present is still there for you.

Looks like there's no need for BX Digital anymore.
You gave us Mono Maker, MS, MultiBand Comp and Master EQ all in one.

Nice Dawman,

You put it all into good use!

The EQ is a special one. As gain increases it narrows down. Approx amount of gain is Q factor. Best put to use for tweaking out nasty resonances that might be more noticable after fair amount of comping. Thus for real equalizing or coloration best to put the stereo EQ (dNa) in front.

The monomaker really should make LF more mono, also the ones that could possibly be problematic IN mono, or when pressing vinyl.

The analog switch will also act as a concrete wall. Not going to -0.05 dBfs but more around -0.3 dBfs which imho is safer icw lower quality DA conversions.

A good mastering chain proposal could be;
2tr source > dNa-Stereo Equaliser > dNa-MasterCOMP > dNa-MultiCOMP > masterrecorder

Be carefull not to drive everything to the fullest, and i would start using the mastercomp with faster settings to bring transients under control followed by multicomp to tailor sound....or use mastercomp icw blend to tailor a sound and go easier on the multiband. Either ways...that is my prefered way of starting but that might change or differ since every source is different.

Hope ya'll can get great and exciting mixes with this imho beauty.

Have fun and let us hear how you feel about it or how you use it and share some you create if you want.

Looks like a superb gift and I can't wait till I get my Activation Code and try it. A multiband compressor is definitely a great move since there are no other commercial ones available for SCOPE that I know of. Thanks for the freebie Ray!

Hi Sounddesigner,

Ofcourse there are and have been a few others...but as i say...this is the dNa take on multiband compression and you'll hopefully realize soon what that means imh but critical opinion...just an opinion lol. Although i am actually not a real fan of multiband compression...can tear the freq balance out of balance, i must say im personally very delighted with the results. Because of the tearing out of balance is the reason it got this many features...it needed it. Always handy to have good balanced features. Looking forward to your experiences with it.
Have fun!
