Yup got my keys last night so just installed the DAW and MixComp bundles as well as the CompANY-XT included with the updated Mastering bundle. Thanks for creating these superb devices.

Submixing in Reason using the fake SSL with 8 outputs at 96Khz still leaves plenty of CPU for Reason instruments for electro tracks.

In Scopeland, each of the 8 incoming ASIO streams has its own dNa Stereo Mix Comp. Then summed in summer, and for mastering, dNa Stereo EQ and Compressor finish the chain.

With DSP to spare on the humble XITE-1D.

And as a bonus I finally worked out how to use screensets..

Would be interesting if you did an internal DAW mix with similar processing and the Scope mix side by side to hear how much difference their is.

Eventually I will but I expect it will take me a while to get the best out of an entirely new mix and master setup. I've been using more or less the same 48khz DAS setup for a couple of years now .... So this is like getting a complete new desk.

Dante, see ur having fun ey...sometimes it is good changing setups...brings new energy ...but foremost: have fun making music...testing isn't fun, if the way of working feels good....it is good ..one thing which makes the summer so special is the balancing/placement(pan) + widening in EVERY submix channel...you can really fit you final mix together to optimal results...and sometimes is also good flipping phases on channels/submixes. This can sometimes mean a world of difference in a good way. All these functions in almost 1 window (2 layers) so it makes it easy to try is out. Keep us posted!

Dante and t_tangent and all the users, thanks for supporting us and we design these devices with much pleasure (besides blood sweat and frustrations haha), and these comments and your results make it worth it.

Maybe it is obvious....but the dNa devices can be automated! Of course you can control them remotely, but you can also record this midi info...so you can play that back, thus automating your mixing. It is not wise to automate some functions, because there are dynamically loaded. But for example the EQs/filters and levels on the Super8Tracker, the levels/panning/widening!! in the Summer of 82, threshold/makeup of the Compressors, and the gains/levels of the stereo EQ you can easily automate "in the mix"....All the dNa devices have midi in/out

Yeah great trax Shay Im jelous of ure beatz but they inspire me to try new dance sounds.

RA - Ive yet to explore the widening and phase flipping, but Im getting a great almost live sound from thin Reason VST, a great way of adding some Scope DSP goodness to Native rompling.

P.S. I like the smooth bottom end coming out of StereoEQ, Dan Dean's Fender precision and the normally thin Kick likes it lots !!! In fact I never really like reverb on kick till this !

It does right to your classic rock! Just gives it a little smudge and fatness Good work in progress...drive that organ to overdrive...60's feeling to it...a good room can certainly give a kick definition...that early reflections do that....keep it short and dense. Good one!
