Do PCI-e to PCI adapter cards actually work? - This is not for Scope but is for another PCI card to work in an Xite computer? - It wouldn't take many lanes up but do they actually work?

Are there any favored makes? - They're not too difficult to find but do they work?

they work for one card, but at a drastically reduced PCI perfomance. Magma is best, but the cheap ones also work. none work even close to as well as a native PCI slot. if you get a cheap one, be sure to get one with the biggest power supply possible.
