Really like my recent build.
Testing shows great cooling capability and high benchmark scores
for SSDs and NVMe M.2s using newer Windows 7 NVMe drivers.

Supermicro CSE 512f-600B 1U ATX Chassis
ASRock H97m WS
Intel i7 4790k
32GBs of DDR3-1600 RAM

Plextor 256GB NVMe M.2
2 x Samsung 850 Pro SSD

Triple 22,000rpm intake fans
Dynatron Cross Blower Exhaust
Dynatron 1U HSF

Icemodz Custom Cut Sleeved SATA cables

Parts have been warehoused and are cheap.
250 for the i7
Motherboard with Humidity protection PCB 120 bucks

Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SSD was the most expensive part.
Plextor NVMe is PCI-e 2X speed also cheap (738 MBps Seq. Read)

DUDE!!!! Sleek and mean machine, beautifull!

Superfast with those SSD's, but if you have crucial data on it, make sure you backup on a regular base, cause ssd's still are not failsafe as they can just die on you afaik according to several tests.
Please correct me if i'm wrong. Meanwhile you're an expert on those hw upgrading!

Cheers mate! 8)

Clones for all 4 PCs done in Acronis.
The 2 x 4Us have their clones in 2 inactive bays.

Tested and benched for 29 hours using a bench pushing 100% CPU.
Then RAM.
Then SSDs.....

Perfection, as long as you're not offended by the sound of 22,000rpm fans.
Smallest, most powerful rig to date.

Runs UVI, Kontakt, PLAY, PianoTeq, Zebra2 HZ, Omnisphere and Keyscape.

It's so tiny and powerful.... :)

Exactly why I wanted to try a proven design with the least features.
The motherboard itself has less space, less traces, less features and hardware.
It runs 7 degrees cooler just from that.
But the extra thick PCB means it will run longer and cooler.

This is the ultimate Sidemans rig.
I'm so bored with Tributes I want to play with as many people as possible.
If things aren't working out my escape is that much quicker.

Congrats on the studio and move.
