It's a done deal.
I won't buy this until August but the design is perfect for fast set up gigs.

Watch the video, it makes this a perfect case for the 3U SE-1X, and the XITYE-1.

On top will be the ADK i7.

Using a cheap proven OS+APps Seagate, all samples will be on an external USB 3.0 SSD enclosure x 2. Access times are low and sequential reads are 439MBps, faster than my loaded Vertex 4s actually that sank to 418MBps once I filled them to 100GB out of 128GB.
They were 514MBps at 50% capacity. But these little Puppys will hunt.

Bitwig Studios even has their own version so obviously it's been tested for audio.

Leaves no ventilation space between SE1X and XITE-1 :-?

That link opens the configuration for ADK Pro Audio 1Q HW laptop which doesn´t offer a PCIexpress 34 card slot.
Only the 9000X 17.3" does.

But that´s the most expensive ADK solution comparing the basic systems.

Never fill a SSD more than 50% max. ! Better less ...

The only SSDs my professional working computer builder trusts are Samsung 840 Pro series.

I got a Kingston 240GB SSDNow and a Samsung 840 EVO 120GB - the tech at work said EVO was best, so that's 2 sources now Ive heard the same story from.

I regret getting the Kingston now, shoulda got 2 x EVO.

UPDATE : Now Ive been told Pextor M5 Pro 256 is also great bang for bucks being on special now.
