STS on win7 64, BSOD Xite-1

Post by Casper »

Dear Z's,

is there any news on fixed drivers for win7 64 in relation to the BSOD you get when using the STS devices?
The 32bit scope version was working fine on windows 7 32 on the same DAW.

I read about having enough W in PSU , but would that make any difference on 32 or 64 bits?

Also i tried following the list of things to turn off in the bios.
No difference unfortunately.

Sometimes i get some 2 seconds of sound when i play on the STS, following the BSOD.

Anyone no any things to try out?

Best regards,

Casper

64bit requires a rewrite of the sys files for the STS. it will probably be a fix that does get done, but there are some other priorities first.

no, sorry.
there are several vital things that must be done first and literally a handful of people to do them. it will almost certainly get done, but it'll be a while. if things go really well at the NAMM show, it may happen sooner. in any case, it will have to wait in line.
