Assigning / Saving DSP Placements 4 Modular

Post by dawman »

Just now noticed that Modular patches retain their DSP assignments once they're saved.

To make this work, just call up your Modular patches after the mixers and synths have been arranged in a project window.
Check their assignments and if they have any, if so clear them.

Now re assign the patches to be on the last DSP chip of the 4 various slots.
For example, DSP 7 / 11 / 15 is a slot, use DSP 15.

Now save the Modular Patch, and even in other projects it gets recalled to this DSP....
This means 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 can be Mixers and synths, and even if they span across the slot from high polyphomy, Modular will be at the last chips and have no effect on high poly counts....Coolness.
